Instruction & Teaching

My teaching philosophy is based on the instructor-student interaction inside and outside the classroom and along with it, the challenge of addressing students’ unique misconceptions and knowledge gaps through frequent, formative feedback. I also believe that a triad of real-life case studies, the mathematical theory behind their solutions and their implementations during in-class coding sessions constitutes a solid basis to understand how to approach tasks and utilize the necessary tools with an engineering mindset.

Research Interests

My research interests lie at the intersection of at the intersection of Machine Learning and biomedical signal processing. My ongoing projects in collaboration with Feinberg School of Medicine and the department of Biomedical Engineering aims to help medical specialists for more accurate diagnosis and prognosis white decreasing the physical and equipment cost of the entire process.
